Software Engineer
Creative Science Systems is seeking a Software Engineer for position in Campbell, CA
Duties:
With high level of decision making authority and only limited supervision, research, design, and develop, computer enterprise
software applications using the NetZyme Suite. Test, integrate, and deploy customized software products.
Requirements:
MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electronics Engineering plus 3 years of experience.
Alternative Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Software Engineering, or Electronics Engineering plus 5 years of experience.
Software Engineer
Creative Science Systems is seeking Software Engineers who can research, develop, and design computer enterprise software applications using Java, XML, J2EE, Web Services and BPEL. Analyze and formulate software applications requirements. Test, integrate, and deploy customized software products.
Requirements:
Master of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field, plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or similar position in software engineering/software development.
Engineer I
While training on the Creative Science Systems software infrastructure technology, a level I software engineer will assist in development, integration and deployment of distributed enterprise computing solutions, which may include commercial portals and e-commerce engines. As the proficiency with Creative Science platform increases, the engineer will have opportunities to lead own development projects and participate in R&D initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and C++ programming
- Knowledge of distributed computing and network programming
- Experience in Java integrated development environment
- Interpersonal, analytical and organizational skillsPreferred qualifications:
- BS in computer science
- Java certification
- Working knowledge of Perl, HTML/XML/XSL
- Experience in building e-commerce systems and messaging/middleware based systems a strong plus
- Broad understanding of middleware technologies and development of middleware based systems
Minimum Education Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science
- Years of experience required: minimum 3 years
Engineer II
While training on the Creative Science Systems software infrastructure technology, a level II software engineer will assist in R&D initiatives and take an integral role in development, integration and deployment of distributed enterprise computing solutions, which may include commercial portals, and e-commerce engines. As the proficiency with Creative Science platform increases, the engineer will lead development projects and design own R&D initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java, C/C++ programming
- Experience in Internet/e-business application development using HTML, XML/XSL, JDK, RMI Java Beans, Enterprise Java Beans, JDBC, CORBA, and IIOP
- Experience in Java integrated development environment
- Strong UNIX/NT operating system skills
- Strong OO skills
- Performance tuning, specialized development, recompilation, porting, and migration planning skills
- Interpersonal, team building, analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Java performance and profiling tools
- Knowledge or experience in middleware technologies (TP Monitors, TUXEDO, MQ Series and TIB Rendezvous, CORBA)
- 2+ years experience in building complex e-commerce systems
- 3+ years experience in developing messaging/middleware based systems
- Experience in Application Servers a strong plus
- Good understanding of middleware and Web application technologies
- Broad understanding of middleware, Web application and e-commerce markets
Minimum Education Requirements:
- MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Years of experience required: minimum 5 years
